If you have been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, you are eligible for MedsCheck for Ontarians Living with Diabetes, a program supported by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care. During this one-to-one consultation, our pharmacists will offer advice and recommendations on:

Proper medication use and storage
Dealing with the addition or change of medications
Proper blood glucose meter use and interpretation of results
Blood sugar target levels
Insulin pen training
Diet and lifestyle modifications
Assistance in joining a Diabetic Education Centre
Assistance in finding foot care and other community diabetes resources
Low blood sugar symptoms and treatment options
